Grandall Law FirmRelease Date: 2019-04-26

On April 26, 2019, a delegation of Grandall partners, XU Wenli, WANG Xuemei and CHEN Xuebin, visited the School of Law at the University of Leeds and successfully held Grandall's second overseas campus recruitment.

Professor Alastair Mullis, Dean of the Law School of Leeds, Professor Roger Halson, Head of International Business, Chen Kun, managing partner of KNW & Partnership, and several other senior professors communicated with Grandall lawyers. Both sides talked about the friendly relationship between Grandall and the Law School of Leeds and proposed various measures to implement the cooperation on professional training, academic exchanges, forum cooperation, internship and campus recruitment under the Memorandum of Cooperation previously signed between Grandall and the school.

During the campus recruitment, Grandall lawyers - Xu Wenli, Chen Xuebin and Wang Xuemei introduced Grandall Law Firm and its branch offices, and gave English speeches to more than 60 students from all over the world and answered their questions. After the presentation, the three lawyers interviewed over 40 students from China, the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Pakistan, and Hong Kong, China, respectively.

Due to the sufficient preparation, professional perspective, pragmatic speech contents, and friendly cooperation between Grandall and Leeds, this event has attracted huge attention at the campus. This event has won praise from not only the students who attended the event, especially those from China, but also staff of Leeds. Some students have been focusing on information about this year's recruitment event since they knew about Grandall's campus recruitment at Leeds in the last year. Meanwhile, the recruitment attracted not only the attention of Chinese students, but also foreign students from Britain, Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan and so on. All of these foreign students have a strong wish to intern or work at Grandall.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and a formal Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Grandall and the Law School of Leeds and the two campus recruitment events indicate that the cooperation between Grandall and Leeds have been put into action on a step-by-step basis. By taking this as a starting point, Grandall will further strengthen its cooperation with law schools of world-class universities, reserve high-quality international talents, expand its overseas influence, and accelerate its pace of internationalization.
