May14-15, 2010 - Taiwan - Attorney MA Dongxiao was invited to attend the 8th Cross-Straits Academic Exchange Symposium on "Cross-straits Tactics and Global Standards of Intellectual Property Rights" that was organized by the National Chengchi University in Taiwan.

The Symposium was successfully organized by seven institutions including Intellectual Property Research Institution of National Chengchi University, Technology Management Research Institution of National Chengchi University, Cornerstone Intellectual Property Foundation, Association of Technology Managers as well as International Intellectual Property Research Centre of Peking University, etc. Attendees had lively and constructive discussions pertaining to intellectual property issues from the perspectives of Cross-Straits development status, protective measures, usage and management, settlement of dispute, Industry-Academy-Research cooperation, as well as professional talent cultivation. The discussion was also extended to global IP management strategy.

Mr. MA Dongxiao, partner of Grandall Beijing Office gave  his speech touching on the Cross-straits dispute settlement on IP, particularly, the latest precedents, administrative and judicial enforcement of law in the mainland. Representatives from enterprises, scholars and professionals had effective exchanges on the subject.
