On the morning of August 15, 2020, the signing and inauguration ceremony of the CIRD-GRANDALL FTP Law Institute was held in China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD). Leaders of CIRD and Representatives of Grandall gathered together to discuss the major plans for the rule of law in the free trade port and the blueprint for a win-win cooperation.

Mr. Chi Fulin (Director of CIRD), and Mr. LV Hongbing delivered enthusiastic speeches thereon. Mr. MIAO Shubin (Executive President of CIRD), and Mr. LEE Chun (Founder & Executive Partner of Grandall and Director of Grandall Development and Research Institute) signed a framework agreement on the joint establishment of CIRD-GRANDALL FTP Law Institute. After the execution, the parties held the 1^st council meeting, during which Mr. Chi Fulin was elected as the president of the council, Mr. LV Hongbing as the vice president and Chief Researcher, Mr. LEE Chun as the Initial Director of the Institute, and Mr. MIAO Shubin as the Initial Deputy Director. Grandall and CIRD will work together to integrate new theory with practice, paving a path for the rule of law for free trade ports. In the future, the Institute will focus on the study of laws and regulations in line with the construction of China's free trade ports, supported by various policies and systems of Hainan Free Trade Port, relying on the academic resources, research platform and expert team from both of the CIRD and Grandall, and making contributions to the construction of the rule of law for free trade ports.
