November 3, 2010 - Beijing, China - On October 29, 2010, the China Intellectual Property and Low-Carbon Economy Summit Forum was held at Tsinghua University, Beijing. The forum was hosted by the Beijing Project Management Association and China Institute for Science and Technology Policy, Tsinghua University (CISTP), sponsored by the International Intellectual Property Center of World Innovation Institute and Grandall Legal Group, and co-organized by the Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce, the PRC. It has attracted tremendous interests judging from the overwhelming attendance by representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, State Intellectual Property Office and other relevant departments, offices and committees, professors from law schools of universities, IPR agencies, law firms, multinational companies and media representatives as well as local hi-tech industrial development zone together with representatives of enterprises located in such zones.
The forum emphasized its focus on the relevant issues in connection with low-carbon economy and protection of intellectual property. Ms. FENG Xiaoyi, partner of Grandall Beijing Office, has been invited as a guest to share her view in the forum.
Ms. Feng, representing Grandall's Energy, Infrastructure and Resources practice group, gave an address titled as “Legal Focuses and Practices in Low-Carbon Economy”. In her speech, Ms. Feng focused on matters touching on the current legislation situation, policy analysis and suggestions, investment in clean energy and development of CDM projects, and shared valuable opinions with those representatives present at the conference. Ms. Feng's lively and charasmatic presentation was well received from the participants.
