September 11, 2009 - Beijing, China - WU Yiding, partner of Grandall Legal Group Beijing Office, in her capacity as the Deputy President of the Insurance Law Commission of Beijing Lawyers Association, was invited to attend a seminar sponsored by the Beijing Insurance Association on September 8-9, 2009 to participate in a discussion pertaining to the performance of new insurance law and the practice of vehicle insurance. Other experts and professionals specializing in the auto-underwriting and claims of property and casualty insurance also took part in the seminar.

During the seminar, Ms. Wu elaborated on the new PRC Insurance Law and its impact to the vehicle insurance practices in Beijing. She also explained and analyzed on the insurer’s obligation in the operating procedure to educate the cunsumers relating to claim procedures, payment to a third party, the underwriting to the vehicle whose ownership has transferred, the legal exposures in the telemarketing of the policy and other relevant issues involving in the new PRC Insurance Law.
