On February 11, 2022, the Inauguration Ceremony of Grandall Marine Law Research Center was successfully held in Dalian, which was hosted by Grandall Research Institute and Grandall Marine Law Special Committee and organized by Grandall Dalian Office.  The center, initiated by Grandall Dailian Office, consists of about 30 members and mainly focuses on marine management legislation and judicial practice, marine administrative law enforcement, marine environmental protection, maintenance of marine rights and interests, marine economic development, dispute resolution, maritime crime and other related legal and policy theories and practical issues to promote exchanges on marine law, carry out marine legal services, give full play to the role of theoretical support and think tank, and provide professional strength to serve the national economic, social and marine development.

LEE Chun, founding partner and head of Grandall Research Institute, attended the ceremony online and delivered an enthusiastic speech thereon.  LI Zhenglou, vice president and secretary general of the Pacific Society of China (“PSC”) expressed warm congratulations to the establishment of Grandall Marine Law Research Center on behalf of the PSC. 

ZHU Hui, director of Grandall Marine Law Research Center and deputy director of School of Marine Law and Humanities of Dalian Ocean University, said that the center has formulated the work plan, covering a series of lectures on “Ocean Strategies”, research reports or collections on the legal theory and practice of the marine law, legal training, case review and case study with relevant judicial bodies and related research with the PSC.
