Grandall Southeast Asian Legal Research Center has successfully translated 16 laws of Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. The translation is proposed by the People's Government of Yunnan Province to serve the Belt and Road Initiative and to achieve the goal of serving the law first. It took one and a half years from the official launch since 16 November 2018 to the completion.
Greatly supported by Yunnan Provincial Department of Justice, Grandall Law Firm, Grandall Research and Development Institute, and Grandall Kunming Office, the Southeast Asian Legal Research Center went to Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand to conduct investigation, review regulations, collect materials, and select and employ translation agencies. The translation was finalized after three rounds of discussions, revisions, and reviews by external experts of universities, research institutions, and research centers.
