Grandall Law Firm and Link Legal India Law Services Law Firm (“Link Legal”) entered into a memorandum of understanding for strategic cooperation on October 19. Through such non-exclusive cooperation, both parties will gradually deepen their cooperation by ways of business communication, training, study and discussion and promote joint development.
Hongbing Lv, chief executive partner of Grandall, Henry Huang, managing partner of Grandall Shanghai, Atul Sharma, managing partner of Link Legal, and Santosh Pai, partner of Link Legal, attended the signing ceremony. Both parties also communicated with each other for issues having common concerns before the ceremony.
Mr. Lv welcomed Atul Sharma and Santoshi Pai on behalf of Grandall and said that Grandall and Link Legal have much more to cooperate in consideration of their geographic location, practice areas and business targets. Mr. Lv also hoped the two firms could keep promoting their cooperation through business exchange, visits and communications.
Atul Sharma said he was pleased about the strategic cooperation between Link Legal and Grandall. He said that Chinese enterprises’ investments in Indian market were rather significant, and Link Legal had extensive experience in Chinese business as they have served numerous Chinese clients. Mr. Sharma also hoped the strategic cooperation would facilitate the joint development of both firms by utilization of their respective advantages.
Before the signing ceremony, Atul Sharma and Santosh Pai were invited to give a lecture on “Recent Legal Reforms in Arbitration and Insolvency Laws in India” and interacted with Grandall’s lawyers. The speech offered helpful information and enhanced Grandall’s daily training on foreign legal service.
