On 8 January 2020, the application for public issue of the corporate bonds by Air China Limited (“Air China”) was passed and approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission. Grandall Beijing Office provided legal service for Air China in such project.
On 15 April, the corporate bonds (1st phase) were successfully issued by Air China to eligible investors via Shanghai Stock Exchange with the coupon rate at 1.95%. Both the corporate credit and the bonds are rated at AAA.
In December 2004 Air China Limited became a publicly traded company on Hong Kong Stock Exchange (SEHK: 0753) and London Stock Exchange (LSE: AIRC). The company is the only national flag carrier in China and a member carrier of the world’s largest airline network - Star Alliance. It is a Chinese carrier with the highest brand value in China’s airline industry – Valued at CNY 167,876,000,000 by World Brand Lab in June 2019.
